Visit Graceland and take an up-close and personal look at the influences that drove Elvis Presley, “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, to forever change our music and our lives. Videos, photos, personal mementos and artifacts, movie memorabilia, stage costumes and much more can be seen here. Tour Sun Studio, the birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll, and learn the history of the most famous recording studio in the world. When in Memphis, Beale Street is the place to be after sunset.

Day 0 | Accommodations: Elvis Presley''s Heartbreak Hotel
Located across from Graceland and just minutes from famous Beale Street stands the Heartbreak Hotel. Enjoy your stay at this landmark hotel where guest rooms are accented with black and white framed Elvis photographs and other allegoric light touches which coupled with the blond wood furnishings give you that 1950s feeling. Your accommodations include telephone with voice mail, cable television with in-room movies, clock radio, hair dryer, ironing equipment, coffee maker, microwave oven and refrigerator. Amenities include a cocktail lounge, business center, gift shop and safe-deposit service at the front desk. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool and fitness center. Complimentary weekday newspaper and self-parking are provided.
Day 1 | Arrive at Memphis, TN
Pick-up your rental car and drive to this landmark hotel where guest rooms are accented with black and white framed Elvis photographs and other allegoric light touches which coupled with the blond wood furnishings give you that 1950s feeling. But perhaps the most prominent feature is the signature heart-shaped swimming pool with its black zigzag line stretching diagonally across signifying the “heartbreak”. In the evenings you may choose to relax without leaving the hotel in the Jungle Room Lounge, located off the lobby, where you can enjoy appetizers, sandwiches, salads, specialty drinks and more.
Graceland
Day 2 | Graceland Estate
Today visit Graceland Estate. Take the audio-guided tour of the Mansion and grounds including Elvis’ two custom airplanes, climb aboard Elvis’ small Lockheed Jet Star and the Lisa Marie airplane and experience what he called his “flying Graceland”; the Automobile Museum, stroll down a tree-lined street with a drive-in theater and see over 33 vehicles owned by Elvis including his famous Pink Cadillac; the Elvis Lives: The King of Pop Culture Exhibit, experience how Elvis has influenced pop culture as we know it today; and the Hollywood Exhibit, learn the story of how Elvis transitioned from singer to on-screen star. Other highlights include the amazing display of Elvis’ Gold and Platinum awards in the Hall of Gold and Elvis’ Trophy Building. The tour takes 2 – 3 hours to complete and is offered in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. You may also make return visits as many times as you’d like within the same day of your tour.
Beal Street
Day 3 | Sun Studio – Beale Street
Relax and enjoy all the hotel has to offer this morning. In the afternoon depart to Sun Studio via their shuttle. Tour this National Historic Landmark building where the blending of blues and country music came together in the big bang of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Experience outtakes from different recording sessions, touch Elvis'' first microphone, stand in the very spot where Elvis first recorded, see the priceless 50’s memorabilia and hear the real history of the studio that launched Elvis Presley, among others, to fame. Allow 60 – 90 minutes for the complete experience as you will need time to take pictures and visit the Sun Studio Soda Shop and Record Store. While in the area, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Historic Beale Street. Located in the heart of the Entertainment District and known as the “Home of the Blues”, this street contains many interesting shops and restaurants where you can sample the equally famous BBQ Ribs. We especially recommend Blues City Café and Rum Boogie Cafe; their friendly staff and world-famous menus have drawn the attention of presidents and celebrities alike. This is a must-do while in Memphis! You may take the Sun Studio shuttle to Downtown/Beale St. and return to the hotel by way of the hotel shuttle service for a nominal fee. Check with the front desk for the time schedule and pick-up/drop-off locations.
Day 4 | Departure from Memphis
Enjoy your last day at the hotel. If you haven’t already done so, visit the lobby’s Elvis Gift Shop and pick up a few souveniers. Depart at your leisure. Drop-off the rental car.
